Namit is independent and entrepreneurial. He has been supported by his Uncle since he was 13 years old. He took it upon himself to start a small business to support part of his education and his daily needs.

He is a part of the Nav Yuva Samaj in Kerabari which organises various programs to raise awareness on substance abuse, supporting poor families etc.

​

He wants to do his B. Ed. and become a teacher.

​

He also provides free tuition to the kids in his village and is passionate about the lack of quality education in government schools. He wants to ensure that all children are able to access quality education, irrespective of their economic status. 

Through the Fellowship, he wants to develop his leadership abilities.
